Big G is what they called Betty’s mom. Big G got screwed out of a pension in Elkhart IN with company change … of course her husband had passed. She lived with Aunt Norma, a service person, she was, divorced raising her children so Big G moved in and helped raise those children. So I met them when Bob and I came back to IN to get married. He made me sell my car, as he wasn’t going to be without a vehicle just in case he wanted to leave I guess. I think mine was a better car...but a 3 speed on thee column.
The whole family was there Robert (Bobby) all called Poopsie, Rita Ann, and Billy were Aunt Norma's children. Big G lived with Norma after divorce and raised the children. They, the girls were all knitting and crocheting type women..even Cindy, Poopsie's wife. So two sisters having Bobbie and Cindy's married. The only one not doing needle work was Billy's wife. So football was on the guys all watching and talking while the women in same room doing their needle work talking too.
Very different, yet Indiana family. Poopsie and Cindy were trying to have children, she couldn't get PG...so they ended up adopting Jenifer I think her name a Corean or Vietnam child. Well here found out when we moved to AZ in 1973 Norma was there with Jenifer, here they called her J just like we called Jeremy J hahaha Well they just loved each other as tiny as they were, Jenifer would just hug him and kiss him hahaha so cute to watch made us all laugh.
