I, out of high school worked for Ft Wayne State Institution, where mental people were for all sorts of things. I worked in like a Kelly girl, area office, transcribing Doctor audio, typing putting to text things like this if I were in the home area. They used this department also to cover individuals that were going on vacation, so many different job assignments if not on assignment you were transcribing audio. Well I was farmed out all the time!!! That girl remember the program haha I learned a lot there, heck think that is where trained on old pbx phone system, would call that today maybe plug and play. So I was around a lot of the inmates of this place. They had offices on State St. my home office but also had places on North side town where I lived.
I met friends there, this is where working when I purchased my Daddy's dog King I named him...and also Leah forget her last name...but it was she and I took spring break vacation together...you could fly stand by back then is how we got to Arizona to stay with her married sister that lived in Mesa. We would go out in evenings to see what happening, never able to find that much...well pulled into a gas station for some gas..talked to the cute guy pumped it for us. He sent us to place called "The Library" A ASU college hang out..think had beer if old enough, so we went.
People so different than what we were used to in Indiana. In Indiana, you didn't accept a dance with someone just to dance...you by accepting a dance was basically saying you were interested and would spend rest evening with person.
AZ totally opposite, we were asked to dance over and over and over never met a person. Different guys all the time. We would chat with each other in between. I thought well I am going to meet someone by golly. Bob was next one to ask me. So dancing I said, Hi my name is Cindy what is yours. He said your not from Arizona are you. Said no but it did start conversation. I wasn't going to be there much longer...so anyway he ask me to go home with him well i did. Puppies everywhere...one of his room mates dog had litter of pups think Irish Setter. So I played puppies. Well his other room mate came home...guess who? The dude from gas station. Well he had told us he would be going up there when off work.
His name Skip Metcalf, I called him Skipper. Well your dad had just a waterbed on the floor is what he slept on...so we laid there just talked the night..the man never got a thing...but some kissin. Well next day we go over to Leah's sister's friends house. In Mesa, and visited with her friend...well the neighbor girl came over and joined in conversation...so we talked about the Library where we went.
Well the girl from across street said My brother goes there...she said his name and that was your dad lol So met Susan, she was married to Ped and had child...your cousin Daryl. Well a guy I was dating at home, a friend for years, knew his character we were pretty tight..he was a pain...but wanted to date me. So thought well we were close maybe that way see if he is better or what.
He wanted me to come home early spend time with him. So I left earlier than Leah. Well your dad took me airport..wearing a t-shirt that really embarrassed me said "cure virginity"
Well guy in Indiana was Mark Yale worked for a bank. I have the coin set they gave out at that bank for new accounts old coin set. Well Mark treated me just like he did others he dated...make a date...cancel last minute to go out with friends.. don't cut it with me.
Dad and I had phone numbers and I knew his birthday was soon coming. Called my sister Cheri she worked at Hallmark asked her to pic me out a card haha so sent the card. Well got call not long after here his grandmother Jacobs had been hit by a train walking in Glen Ellen, Grandpa was an optometrist had his own business. So he had gone to Chicago for the funeral, which is where your dad was born.
Well he wanted me to come back out to Arizona so, I did. Not to many months later. My mothers sister was in town Aunt Dot. She had daughter my age, Becky. Uncle Bob a cop in Denver. So Aunt Dot rode with me to Colorado, she wanted Becky to go with me haha So Becky and I drove rest of the way to Tempe...and just moved right in we had no place to go. hahaha
Well he had moved from the house with 3 of them to just him and Skipper...an apartment...actually the apartment complex that had a man car bommed. A Joe Banno gangster dude Bob said.. anyway your dad of course me observant hahaha had those giant floor standing bottles...liquor he was a Harevy Wallbanger drinker then and the man lived on round steak and mac cheese.
Well of course used same beds didn't do anything for a while...Becky slept in with Skip and me your dad. Well Becky fell for the neighbor to them Robert Moody and ended up marrying him. I fell for your dad, got PG...he took me to meet his parents. Understanding a persons background helps but your dad pretty closed mouthed about his..knew his best friend was Tom McCoullough, and thing remembered him telling me and asking as i go anyway haha Tom shot him in the leg with a 22 rifle..in some of their adventures.
Well went to his sister Susan to find a Dr to see if PG..she sent me to one..he gave me some pills said if I was PG these would not start my period...now funny thing about that word at home us sisters didn't use that, it was hidden..haha we would say "comma comma down dubie do down down" lol start singing lol
Well was PG so talked about it first thing out of your dads mouth was, well I will marry you but if it don't work out we are not staying together because of kids. I was like wow what a proposal..haha So I said forget it then I won't marry you. I will have the child on my own. Well they back peddling he did...explaining he lived with that his life is all he said.
Well totally different side of the tracks as they say. So that was the start, we did go his parents, your grandpa took pic of us together, i sent to daddy.. well then later made him call my dad and ask for my hand in marriage that sapposed to do. So we did he called him..just heard one side of course but knew daddy..anyway Bob said well I love her too. So daddy found out later said to him well I love her.
We stayed at your grandparents house till left for Indiana..stayed in basement area of their tri-level house. Visited a lot with his mom, told her how i was raised.. when went to bed slept with someone in Gods eyes that is marriage. well she really liked that. that was what the word Knew means.
And Con the same way we sisters talked when Larry pressured her, she told him he would have to marry her. haha
So how many husbands did the woman at the well have Yeshua talked to...5 and he said one with not husband...never did he say one was lol get the picture.
